The material entered had to be from the calendar year 2006. This year's awards will be presented at our 2007 banquet. Our annual banquet was held at the Bala Golf Club in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia on Friday evening, June 25th, 2004. At that time, we presented the awards to the 2003 winners.

On Friday evening, June 13, 2003, the Philadelphia Press Association honored the winners of their 2002 awards. The event was held at the Bala Golf Club in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia. The Catholic Star Herald won this year's "Grand Award for Public Service." Accepting on behalf of the staff was Carl Peters. Watch Video

On Friday, June 28, 2002 at the Bala Golf Club in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Press Association held its annual press awards. Taking the Grand Prize for Public Service for 2001 was Nancy Phillips and Rose Ciotta of the Philadelphia Inquirer for their report entitled "Battered Cargo" which ran on June 3, 4 and 5 of 2001.
